Media Production
Since 2014, I have worked as a freelance producer and journalist. My experience includes producing a National Geographic documentary during the COVID-19 pandemic, and reporting from Ukraine for National Public Radio and Vox during Russia's full-scale invasion. Over the past decade, I have pitched, researched, and produced stories across various media formats, including essays, video explainers, documentaries, and podcasts.
The film that I produced was released by The New Yorker Magazine. It's called "I Never Had Dreams of My Son" and tells the story of Oleksandr, a man whose son has gone missing on the front lines. In Ukraine, it is believed that people who have died will visit you in dreams. Oleksandr has never seen his son in dreams, so he believes he is still alive. You can watch it here.
